Just out of curiosity I visited this blog from your signature line, and so I find more things we have in common! I took my MOM to see George Carlin when he came to UConn in 1989. He was at the height of his career and # of swears per minute then, but always sharp and insightful. Always thought of him as one of the more talented social commentators of the 80s and 90s. He is missed!
