Fortune 500 for 2007

Fortune Magazine has released their annual Fortune 500 magazine. Among some of the highlights:
- Total profits for all 500 companies in 2006 was a whopping $785 billion, up 29% from 2005.
- Wal-Mart takes over the number 1 spot. Last’s year leader, Exxon Mobil, moves to 2nd.
- New York leads all states with the most Fortune 500 companies (57). California comes in next with 52.
